Double Eagle Stables
Lesson Horses
Double Eagle Stables has a number of gentle and experienced lesson horses to match the skill and experience of any rider. Lesson horses are ridden no more than once a day to keep them in optimal health and happiness. They receive the highest quality of care and attention.
Amy
Amy is a Quarter Horse mare. She's not quite broke yet, so she won't be joining the lesson program immediately, but her calm disposition is sure to make her a good lesson horse in time.
Baya
Baya is a Thoroughbred/Warmblood cross mare. She is well-suited for intermediate or advanced jumping and dressage riders. Baya can compete in local and A-circuit shows.
Checkers
Checkers is a Quarter Horse gelding. He is particularly calm and quiet, which makes him ideal for beginning riders and young children. He does both Western and English, but doesn't jump.
CJ
CJ is an Appendix Quarter Horse mare. She does Western and English, and is suitable for beginning riders. She is also suitable for more advanced English riders who are learning to jump.
Cubby
Cubby is Mustang gelding. He's a fantastic jumper and capable of competing in local and A-circuit shows. He also does Western, and is mainly ridden by intermediate and advanced riders.
Gigi
Gigi is a Hanoverian mare. She excels at jumping, and competes in hunters, equitation, and jumpers. She also does dressage lessons. Riders of any level can ride Gigi.
Hazy
Hazy is an Appaloosa mare who does Western and English for beginning to advanced riders. She doesn't jump now, but might learn someday. Her small stature is non-intimidating for children, but she can still carry adult riders.
Sam
Sam is a Thoroughbred gelding who competed in equitation, high junior jumpers, and third level dressage. Sam now teaches English riders of any level on the flat, as well as dressage lessons.
