Double Eagle Stables is Spokane's premier equestrian center. Run by USHJA certified trainer Betty Hirst, with over 37 years of teaching and training experince, Double Eagle Stables offers lessons for all riders, from beginners to advanced, Western or English, hunters, jumpers, equitation, and dressage. We also offer affordable, high-quality boarding, as well as horse training services. Our facilities are located just north of Spokane off Highway 395.

5-6-2012 - We'll be attending the Swiftwater Invitational June 14th-17th. Good luck to all the riders who will be showing.
5-6-2012 - The first week of Children's Horsemanship Day Classes will be June 18th-June 22nd. Sign up is first come, first served, so please call us at (509) 466-8895 to sign up.
3-18-2012 - We're getting ready for another great show season. The first show we'll be attending will be the Icebreaker Schooling Show on April 7th, followed by the Spring National Jumper Show April 18th-April 22nd. Contact Betty right away if you want to go to either show.
We're also happy to announce that our popular Children's Horsemanship Day Classes are returning again in 2012. These lessons make a great first or continuing exposure to horses and horsemanship for children. We currently have sessions planned for the first week after school gets out June 18th-June 22nd, as well as July 9th-July 13th, and August 20th-August 24th. Call us at (509) 466-8895 to sign up as spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

8-22-2011 - Congratulations on your new horses go out to Jordan Workman, Holly Becker, and Riley Thompson. Jordan purchased Thoroughbred mare Enya for Hunters, Holly bought Dutch Warmblood gelding Top Gun (Goose) for Hunters and Equitation, and Riley bought Appaloosa gelding Boy Scout.
8-22-2011 - We had a great show season this year. Some highlights include Ashley Powel winning the $1,000 Child/Adult Amateur Jumper Classic at the British Columbia Open at Thunderbird and Reserve Champion in th 1.10m Jumpers at the Evergreen Classic on Unique. Gina Osterback also took Reserve Champion in her division at the Pacific Northwest Hunter & Jumper Show.
